EDITORIAL Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s “Open-Skies Policy”: His Irrefutable Achievement, an Invaluable Success  for Cambodian People War seriously damaged Cambodia tourism industry in the 1970s and the1980s. Cambodia was searching for reconciliation, peace and security during the early part of the 1990s. The win-win policy achieved by Samdech Techo Hun Sen in 1998 laid the ground work for national reconciliation, political stability, internal security, social harmony, and friendly and peaceful relations with countries in the region and all over the world. PHNOM PENH, Thursday 12, Jan. 2012 (PRU) – Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister His Excellency Dr. Sok An on Thursday briefed Mr. Juergen Klimke, a senior Member of the German Parliament, on a number of records achieved by the Extraordinary Chamber in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), including its legacy, with all the Court’s records preserved in a documentation centre for the benefit of academic researchers and the Cambodian public, and setting a model of court administration for the domestic court, based on the valuable experiences from the ECCC, . Phnom Penh, 13 January 2012 JOINT STATEMENT The National Authority for Preah Vihear (NAPV) and the National Committee for the World Heritage (NCWH) express their deepest regret at the recent activities carried out by a group of Thai ultra nationalists, including staging demonstration outside the UN Office in Bangkok, bringing in a large group of activists and erecting a statue of the Buddha on the Phnom Trap, close to the Temple of Preah Vihear and well inside the ICJ’s sketch map of the Provisional Demilitarized Zone, as reported by the Thai media (including 15 th move on 08 January 2012 and Thairath on 8-9 January 2012).
